We went back to Lake Jennnings again. The Helix water district is now responsible for the campgrounds. They assumed the campground January 2009. The host's are very friendly and helpful. I like this place because it gives you a camping feeling even close to home. The showers and facilities are clean and well maintained. We visited many San Diego sites that are within a short distance and had a "campfire" evening. It was nice and quiet. We will return!

We met family here for a few days of camping before Christmas. We had a great time. The sunsets were beautiful and the weather was chilly but comfortable. The staff is very nice and the showers and restrooms were newly re-done. We will return many times I'm sure. I rated it an 8 because it doesn't have water hook-ups or sewer, but there is a free dump site.

Good place to camp, very friendly staff, great affordable site, clean restrooms and showers. Only one draw back is the noise from highway 18, you can hear it especially in the morning. The high school is also located next to the campground so if they are playing football or if the band is practicing you hear that too. We enjoyed the football and the band! We will be back. The rangers told us that it is especially beautiful in the fall because the dogwood tree's are in bloom.

The park is clean and the staff is nice. Quite expensive for what you get. No room once you put a 19ft trailer in place. There is no room to put up the awning or sit. Mostly kids swim in the pool and it was cloudy. I will not be back.

We parked next to a restroom that was closed for the season, so they put in a portable toilet. A group of people were next to our site and there were more than 20 people staying there and it was not a group area. The staff is fine and they pick up trash often. The main road is close by so you hear traffic all of the time. I will not be back.

This is a good place to camp for a "get away" weekend. The staff is helpful and friendly. We stayed on a hill overlooking the lake. There is no swimming but you can watch the fishing boats and the weather was nice. Down the road is Barona Casino and that was a nice stop for the afternoon. The campsite was quiet and very clean and we will go back again.
